Berea Sandstone Drilling in the Appalachian Basin

We maintain an ownership stake in two horizontal wells with multi-stage completions in the Berea Sandstone in the southern Appalachian Basin. This provides regular long-term income with monthly distributions. This project utilizes state of the art drilling, completion and production technologies. This allows us to maximize production rates, reserves and generate cost-effective operations. In addition Gettiner Holdings benefits from substantial tax incentives related to intangible drilling costs which are over 90% deductible.

THOROUGHBRED RACING

Ownership Interest in Geldings Get Smokin & Wentru

This gelding started racing in August 2019 as a two-year-old and was campaigned consistently through June 2021 when he was turned out for a refresh. In 15 starts (as of August 2021) he has 4 wins, 3 seconds, and 2 thirds, for total earnings of $386,040, and has been on-the-board in 7 stakes races. He is expected to resume racing in January 2022.

Get Smokin's was sired by Get Stormy who won over $1.6M in 31 race starts with an 11-5-4 record and came out of dam Hookah Lady and Broodmare Sire Smoke Glacken who produced many notable progenies.

Wentru is a successful Thoroughbred racehorse foaled in 2015, with a notable win at Golden Gate Fields in December 2018. He has achieved multiple top-three finishes in his racing career, including a second-place finish at Turf Paradise on February 21, 2022. His career earnings as of April 2022 are $47,716.
